#ExcelInCommunities – Interview with Claudio Castro, SalesForce
As part of our journey to study how to #ExcelInCommunities, we got this great interview with Claudio Castro, the community manager for SalesForce.
How did your community came to be?
The Salesforce Success Community first started out as a knowledge base center back in 2005. It was just support articles then. In 2010, we finally moved to a community platform. We did this knowing that we were brewing our own internal platform, Community Cloud. In 2013, Community Cloud was finally ready and it was our first milestone, as we hit one of our first major milestones by hitting 1m total community members. Today, we have our 2m members and we’re growing steadily by the month!
